Policies & Liability Waiver

Welcome to Paint with Ms. Angie! We are delighted to be part of your child’s creative journey.

Paint with Ms. Angie is a children’s art program proudly operated by Me Time Expert LLC. Our mission is to provide a safe, encouraging, and inspiring environment where every child can develop creativity, confidence, and a lifelong love for art.

Please review the following Studio Policies & Liability Waiver before enrolling.

Enrollment & Tuition

  • Tuition is due on the 25th of each month to reserve your child’s space for the following month’s classes.
  • A student’s enrollment is confirmed only after tuition has been received.
  • Tuition reserves your child’s scheduled weekly class time.
  • Tuition is non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Families may discontinue lessons at any time by notifying the studio before the next month’s tuition due date.

Class Information

  • Classes are offered Monday through Friday by appointment.
  • Students attend one 90-minute lesson each week at a consistent day and time.
  • Private (1:1) and Semi-Private (1:2) lessons are available.
  • All art supplies and materials are provided.

Attendance & Make-Up Lessons

  • Please notify the studio as soon as possible if your child will be absent.
  • Missed lessons are not refundable.
  • One make-up lesson may be offered based on studio availability but cannot be guaranteed.
  • Make-up lessons must be completed within the designated make-up period and cannot be rescheduled if missed.

Arrival & Pick-Up

  • Please arrive a few minutes before your scheduled lesson.
  • Students should be picked up promptly at the end of class.
  • A 5-minute grace period is provided.
  • A late pick-up fee of $10 per 10 minutes may apply after the grace period.

Clothing

Art can be wonderfully messy! Please dress your child in comfortable clothing that may get paint on it. While washable materials are used whenever possible, some paints may permanently stain clothing.

Health & Wellness

To help maintain a healthy environment for all students, please keep your child home if they have:

  • Fever
  • Vomiting or diarrhea
  • A contagious illness
  • Any condition that may place other students at risk

If your child becomes ill during class, a parent or guardian will be contacted for prompt pick-up.

Behavior Expectations

Our studio is built on kindness, respect, and encouragement.

Students are expected to:

  • Treat others with kindness and respect.
  • Follow studio instructions.
  • Use art materials responsibly.
  • Help maintain a safe and positive learning environment.

If a student’s behavior repeatedly disrupts class or creates an unsafe environment, the studio reserves the right to end the lesson early or discontinue enrollment after discussing the situation with the family.

Personal Belongings

Please leave toys, electronics, and valuable personal items at home. Paint with Ms. Angie and Me Time Expert LLC are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.

Artwork

Students will complete one guided acrylic masterpiece each month through our four-week Monthly Masterpiece Program. Completed artwork will be taken home during the fourth lesson unless otherwise noted.

Photography & Media Release

With written parent or guardian permission, photographs or videos may occasionally be taken during class or during Masterpiece Day.

These images may be used for:

  • The Paint with Ms. Angie website
  • Social media
  • Studio brochures and promotional materials

Children’s names will never be published without additional permission. Parents may decline photography at any time.

Home Studio Courtesy

To provide the best experience for all students:

  • Please drop off your child at the beginning of class and return promptly at the scheduled pick-up time.
  • As this is a home-based studio, we are unable to accommodate parents or siblings on the property during lessons.
  • Please respect our neighbors by avoiding unnecessary parking or waiting outside the studio.
  • Thank you for helping us maintain a safe, peaceful, and enjoyable learning environment.

Bathroom Policy

Children enrolled in the program should be fully toilet trained and able to use the restroom independently. For safety reasons, instructors cannot provide personal hygiene assistance. Parents or guardians may be contacted if assistance beyond supervision is needed.

Liability Waiver

By enrolling my child in Paint with Ms. Angie, operated by Me Time Expert LLC, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • I understand that participation in art activities involves the use of paints, brushes, scissors, and other art materials.
  • I voluntarily allow my child to participate in all studio activities.
  • I understand that reasonable care and supervision will be provided throughout each lesson.
  • I authorize Paint with Ms. Angie / Me Time Expert LLC to seek emergency medical treatment for my child if I cannot be reached.
  • I release and hold harmless Me Time Expert LLC, Paint with Ms. Angie, its owner, instructors, employees, and representatives from liability for injuries, accidents, illness, loss, or property damage arising from participation in studio activities, except where caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Agreement

By enrolling in Paint with Ms. Angie, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Studio Policies & Liability Waiver.
